Pokemon Heart Gold Video Game Review

Today I am going to review the new game Pokemon Heartgold, which came out Sunday, March 14.
Here are some aspects of the game:

Positive:
1. Recreate of Gold, which means better graphics
2. Includes Nintendo D.S. features such as the Global Wi-Fi Connection, allowing you to trade around the world
3. Randomly added features that were not in Gold which made gameplay more exciting

Negative:
1. New features take away from original game plan, adding more things than before

Anyway, here's the summary of the game when you first start:

The world of Johto unwraps when your mom tells you Prof. Elm would like to see you. She gives you your bag, your Trainer Card, the ability to save, and the ability to access the options. You head out into your hometown, New Bark Town and go to your next-door neighbor, Prof. Elm. When you go inside and talk to him, he gives you a little task: to walk around with a Pokemon to see if it becomes more friendly. You pick out a Pokemon, and before you can leave, he gets an e-mail saying that Mr. Pokemon has found another rare item that he wants Prof. Elm to examine. Being to busy, Prof. Elm sends you. Pokemon trailing behind you, you head out for Cherrygrove city on your way to Mr. Pokemon's house, which, in a way, begins your adventure.

Overall Rating: 8 out of 10.

JakeReviewz - Twins Target Field Exclusive video and photos!

I went to Target Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Tuesday the 20th, when the Twins played against the Cleveland Indians! It was so much fun to see the brand new stadium! The previous stadium the Twins played in, the Metrodome, was originally meant for football, not baseball, and it was very crowded and miserable in the summer time (Air Conditioning sucked!) But now that Target Field is open, Twins games are much, much more enjoyable.
Here's some pictures of the brand new Twins stadium!!

What I thought: Target Field was very, very impressive, and it was very asthetically pleasing! You can see what is going on on the field, even on the highest level of the stadium, where I was seated, the players seemed very close! The food and beverages were VERY overpriced, but it is like that in all stadiums. One thing I like about Target Field is that they allow you to bring in your own food/drinks to the field. A few people in front of me even brought Jimmy John's!

The Official JakeReviewz: Amazing, stunning appearances, architectually EPIC and cheap upper row tix! The Twins Target Field Tickets were only 20 bucks! Quite a steal!

10 out of 10!!! ALL THE WAY!

You should most definitely check the stadium out!

JakeReviewz - Diary of a Wimpy Kid the Movie Review

Well, hello there readers! Yesterday I went and saw a movie with my family. Let me say, it was quite a show. I saw Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I know it's kind of a kid's movie, but I was curious, since everyone around me at school was reading the books. Let me start with the positive aspects of this movie.

1.Very comedic
2.well thought out plot and story line
3.motivational and had a message

And now for the negative aspects

1.made for a younger audience
2.Lady in the ninth row needed to shut up.(SERIOUSLY LADY!!)
3.Popcorn was mildly stale
4.weird combination of animation and real humans.
Here' s the summary...

The story tells of how a young boy, Greg Heffley and his best friend, Rowley, begin the first day of Junior High together. Greg is a short kid for his age, and worries too much about fitting in and not enough about being himself. He is embarrassed how his friend is “not middle school ready”. Rowley,
is , well, not very mature. He has a “childish” room made complete with a space ship shaped twin bed.
So Greg tries to “fix” Rowley by changing his style, changing his vocabulary from saying “wanna play after school” to “yo, wanna hang later??” and not to mention, the way he acts. Rowley at first accepts these attempted changes, until the “event” occurred. That event was when Greg accidentally breaks Rowley's hand while playing a game involving a football and a big wheel tricycle. Rowley then gets kicked off the safety patrol club at school, and it goes all down hill from there for Greg. Rowley basically shuns Greg until Greg and Rowley finally make up. Go and see it for yourself if you want to see how it ends!!!!

So, overall, it was a sweet movie. Motivational and inspiring for all the little kids who watched that movie. So bravo to the producer and director, and to Jeff Kinney for writing the books in the first place!

My rating of 10:
9.5– mainly because of my age comparing to the targeted audience's age.
I would definitely take your kid to this one!!!

JVC Everio Video Camcorder Review

Hello, readers. Today I will be reviewing a great camcorder, called the JVC Everio. It is a fairly well put together product and comes in three colors; Red, blue, and black. JVC is a great brand and can be easily trusted with quality, and user friendliness. This product has a 40X Dynamic Zoom, so you can film things from very far away. For example: If you are making a camping documentary, and you see something moving far away in the woods, you can pull out your JVC Everio and zoom in to get the finest details of that animal, such as what it is, what color it is, or even if it has a scratch near its eye. The next great feature on this camera is the dual memory slots, which means that if you like to film alot of clips about your kids, pets, etc, you'll have plenty of space to keep all of those memories. A very unique feature about this camcorder, is that it has a Snapshot button. The snapshot button has several uses. For example: I have just shot a short comedy clip for one of my youtube videos. Then I play it back looking at the flip out LCD screen. I want a good thumbnail to represent that video. So while I'm playing the clip back, I can push the snapshot button at a given time, and it will take a still of my video clip I was playing back, making a picture to represent my video. The snapshot button can also take still photos regularly. Now I want to talk more about the LCD screen I mentioned. It is used as your view finder, and all the other main functions. The unique thing about this LCD screen, is, that it is a Laser Touch Operation. Basically, that is a touch control instead of having buttons that you have to push. It is like having mini circular iPhone screens instead of regular buttons. Another great feature about this camera is the option for One Touch Uploading, exporting, and making a DVD. So all you have to do is plug the Everio into your computer (via USB) and click one of those buttons.

Now Some quick little facts, and my opinions...

-User Friendly
-Amazing Quality Video and Picture
-Dual Memory
-Light for night time filming
-Speakers for Playback
-Large LCD screen
-40X Dynamic Zoom
-Long lasting Battery

Now the negative things about the JVC Everio:
-A bit pricey:$ 250.00+
-Battery is Bulky
-Gets Very warm after a while
-Doesn't come with memory card

The JakeReviewz Summary
A good buy for a video maker, not reccomended for home videos, great quality videos and pictures, a bit pricey, easy to use.

My Rating
On a scale of 1-10
8.5
